Vodafone India on Tuesday confirmed that the company will start the Voice Over LTE (VoLTE) service from January 2018. The Vodafone VoLTE service will be made available in Mumbai, Gujarat, Delhi, Karnataka and Kolkata and will soon be expanded across the country.
According to the news of the language, telecom service provider, Vodafone India will start its VoLTE 4G service from January. The company’s Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director Sunil Sood said in a statement that the introduction of Voltage Service will provide high definition level calling facilities and other possibilities to our customers.
Adopting this future technology to make your network data friendly is a step forward. In the first phase, the company will start this service in Mumbai, Gujarat, Delhi, Karnataka, and Kolkata. After this, it will be started soon across the country. Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Jio is the country’s first company to start VoLTE service.
Apart from this, Vodafone also updated his 199 rupee plan. Vodafone will now get 1GB data for 28 days in a tariff plan of 199 rupees. That is, the total 28GB data will be given throughout the month. This plan is also being offered by Airtel and Idea. But Geo is giving 1.2GB data in similar plans. That is, a little dwarf will definitely prove to Vodafone Reliance Jio.
In addition to 1GB data, Vodafone is also offering unlimited voice calls in the home and roaming circles in the Rs 199. Additionally, customers will get 100SMS per day for 28 days. That is a total of 2800 SMS for the entire month. Although unlimited calls have a 250-minute compulsion per day and a limit of 1200 minutes per week has been kept.
The compulsion for unlimited calls is currently placed by Idea and Vodafone. Airtel and Geo did not force unlimited calls with some required terms and conditions in some way. Also, tell customers that the price of this plan can vary in different circles. Also, these plans have been introduced in only a few circles.
